Abstract

Artificial intelligence-based chatbots are increasingly used to provide information in various sectors, including education, customer service, and business. However, its use in the agricultural sector is still limited. This research aims to design and develop a website-based chatbot using the Dialogflow Framework. The result of this research is a chatbot feature that can be used by millennial farmers to ask questions to the chatbot related to 6 topics, including agricultural business financing guarantees, how to get agricultural business financing, agricultural business financing provider institutions, finance management, government agricultural business financing programs, and agricultural business financing for beginner farmers Next, the chatbot will process the questions and display the suitable answers to the millennial farmers. The test results show that the developed chatbot can provide accurate and relevant responses according to the information needs of millennial farmers. The conclusion of this research shows that the implementation of the developed website-based chatbot has successfully provided a technology-based solution to offer educational information for millennial farmers regarding financial literacy and access to capital easier, faster, and realtime. The results of this research are expected to serve as an effective medium for millennial farmers in obtaining information related to agricultural business financing and to be a preliminary step for further research on the application of chatbots in the agricultural sector.
