Integration of management systems can assist organizations in reducing the additional costs and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy involved in implementing different management systems separately and strengthens the organizational structure which contributes to effective implementation of ISO 14000 EMS. Corporation are seeking initiatives to increase their role in contributing to sustainability since they are highly held responsible for many negative environmental and social impacts. Hence, this study aims to explore the impact of integration of management systems (IMS) on ISO 14000 EMS implementation and to investigate whether there is a relationship between implementation of ISO 14000 EMS and corporate sustainability. The results of this study is expected to benefit Malaysian Manufacturing industries by establishing the influence of IMS with internal processes on implementation leading to sustainability.
