Abstract

A specific study on the determinants those affect the ethical behaviours of the managers of the readymade garment (RMG) industry of Bangladesh was not evidenced after reviewing the previous relevant literatures. This study was conducted to find out the factors those actually influence the ethical behaviours of the managers of the RMG industry of Bangladesh. The large RMG companies located in Dhaka, the capital city and Chittagong, the main port city of Bangladesh were selected for this study. The large companies were defined as organisations employing more than 800 workers and 30 executives including all levels from executives to senior level managers. There were total five independent variables (Age, Gender, Formal Education, Level of Management and Individual Moral Judgment) and one dependent variable (Ethical Behaviours of Managers).
