Abstract

This paper presents the control of the parallel connected DC to AC power converters that attached to small power generators (under 1lMW) connected to the national power grid. Two power converters that are connected in parallel are developed. The desirable characteristic of this parallel design is that both of the master and slave converters share the supplied power equally and stably. The design of the voltage controller is based on the H(infinity) and repetitive control techniques. The power controller is developed to monitor the grid voltage based on the references voltages. The proposed controllers provide tracking of the reference signal that is periodic and sinusoidal while supplying power to the consumer optimally.
