Abstract
In everyday life, it is crucial to protect our data and communication. The necessity for secure message communication is not a novel concept. It has existed for a long time. Data security relies heavily on encryption methods. The advancement of message encryption technology has accelerated due to the utilization of networks and the online world. Cryptographic methods are deemed essential in instances of data theft or hacking involving private and sensitive messages. For secret communication, ciphers can be transformed into graphs. Graph theory is essential to a number of disciplines. Graph theory, in particular, is extensively utilized for encryption purposes because of its numerous properties and the fact that it can be easily represented as a matrix in computer systems. This paper presents the use of a self-invertible key matrix along with an adjacency matrix from a cycle graph for encrypting and decrypting messages, thereby creating a complex cipher. It is possible to decode the cipher without calculating the inverse of the key matrix, as it is a self-invertible matrix. Python is also utilized to create a schematic representation of the code for the provided input message, as well as to encrypt and decrypt it.
