Abstract
This paper presents the design and simulation of a compact single band RF rectifier optimized for wireless power transfer (WPT) applications. The proposed rectifier achieves a simulated -35 dB bandwidth of 330 MHz, covering the frequency range from 0.75 GHz to 1.08 GHz Industrial Scientific and Medical (ISM) band, corresponding to a fractional bandwidth of 36.07%. Utilizing a carefully engineered matching network and a single HSMS-2850 Schottky diode, the rectifier architecture is optimized for high power conversion efficiency (PCE) across the target band. The rectifier resonates at 915 MHz which is essential for biotelemetry. A peak PCE of 62% is recorded under optimized input conditions, demonstrating the effectiveness of the design. The physical size of the rectifier is minimized to 0.15λg × 0.03λg making it wellsuited for compact wireless systems and implantable devices. These results highlight the proposed rectifier’s potential in wideband Radio Frequency (RF) energy harvesting applications, where both hi
