The outbreak of COVID-19 had brought a great challenge for the World Health Organization (WHO) in preventing the spreading of SARS CoV 2 Ministry of Health (MOH) of Malaysia had implemented the application of MySejahtera and the contact tracing function. The wearing of a face mask in the public areas had been made compulsory. Problems arise when the premise owner tries to follow the rules and standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the Government of Malaysia as the monitoring of the wearing of face mask and MySejahtera Check-In. An AI-Based Low-Cost Real-Time Face Mask Detection and Health Status Monitoring System (AFMHS) is proposed to perform real-time detection for face mask and MySejahtera Check In tickets by using artificial intelligence. An alert system would be included in the system proposed.
