Abstract

The study aims to examine the relationship between the green elements of packaging and eco-friendly packaging design. It was proposed that the green elements of packaging;namely i) maximizing green resources; ii) reduce carbon footprints; iii) capitalizing on eco-elements of materials; iv) expanding eco-efficiency structure and v) authentication of eco-label have influences on eco-friendly packaging design and are thus applicable for the packaging of farm supply and such as poultry feed. This study revealed significant positive relationship between the green elements of packaging and eco-friendly packaging design. This research study was concluded with a number of implications,both managerial and marketing with recommendations on certain areas to be considered for further research.
