Abstract

This research paper presents a novel architecture for web applications that enhances security by outsourcing the input phase to Google Forms, thereby reducing the attack surface associated with common input-based vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and broken authentication. By utilizing Google Forms, the system alleviates the complexities and costs of input validation and attack prevention, while isolating sensitive input from the core logic and data storage of the application. However, the limitations of Google Forms regarding encryption and input validation are addressed through the integration of symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques, enabling users to secure sensitive data before submission. The proposed system is particularly suited for low-interactivity environments, such as assignment submission and grading platforms, where students can submit links to files hosted on their personal Google Drive. This approach not only minimizes storage costs but also simplifies the overall architecture. The processing component operates offline to further enhance security, and outputs are generated as static content, thus mitigating interaction-based vulnerabilities. While this model is not suitable for highly interactive applications, it offers a lightweight, secure, and cost-effective solution for immutable assignment submission and grading, balancing usability and privacy for users and administrators alike
