Abstract

Hybrid Augmented Intelligence (HAI) is a powerful paradigm that synergizes specialists in the loop and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled wearable technologies for restoring knee motion-core. Knee motion-core is the range of motion (ROM) which is pivotal for personalized care by leveraging the ubiquitous Samsung Gear S3 watches. Smart watches are data visualization devices using information fusion and HAI by mapping actual knee ROM and evolved knee ROM throughout the active lifestyle. The outcomes were proven by providing a unique indicator based on La Vida matrix that overlooks HAI. La Vida matrix defines the index of neurons growth vs knee mobility normalized ROM from pre-natal to adult. While this work concentrates on active athletes and soldiers defined as reference standard of knee ROM, the deriving matrix using HAI, Composi-HAI fusion matrix from La Vida is a new standard for knee ROM. Updating Composi-HAI fusion matrix occurs when athletes and soldiers undergo routine monitoring by all specialists involved. Thus, all data collection is done by performance enhancement/monitoring specialists and AI-enabled wearable devices uploading all acquired data into AWS cloud leading to cloud migration configured using a DELL server connected via local area network and mobile connectivity. The results demonstrate the verification and validation of ROM of athletes and soldiers using Master-Slave configuration set up using Master-Slave IoT data intensive model built and functioning during the past decade. New standards established in this work using HAI is the way forward to regenerate and reconstruct lower extremity motion-core for personalized healthcare.
