Digital Transformation concept is an ongoing process during which firms permanently change their methods, products, and processes to pursue advantages offered by digital technology. The public sector is expected to continue being influential and credible in the face of the ongoing upheaval. Transformation at the grassroots requires the expertise of the government officials. This study aims to discover the challenges that affect the performance of individuals during public sector digital transfonnation through the view point of practitioners. In this regard, we outline the suggested solutions to the challenges that the practitioners face. A total of six public sector officials who were at different levels were interviewed. The results showed that lack of knowledge and skills, resistance to change and adaptability, ineffective time management, low motivation and absence of digital mindset are the obstacles met. These challenges will be built into the theory of employee dynamic capability.
