In recent years, energy harvesting has emerged as a promising solution to address the increased energy consumption issue in 5G heterogeneous network (HetNets). However, due to the geographical heterogeneity of harvesting renewable energy and inhomogeneous distribution of users in HetNets, the energy harvested by base stations may not fit for their load conditions and this will lead to low energy efficiency (EE).
