Abstract

The world is gearing up for Industry 5.0, the next industrial revolution. The purpose of Industry 5.0, which was first introduced in Industry 4.0, is to improve human-smart system collaboration. Despite the fact that several studies are being conducted to study the adoption of Industry 4.0, there is still a lack of attention on the future of Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0. Integrating computational thinking into one's daily life is the main principle that we feel will contribute to improved Industry 5.0 preparation. This integration is one of the techniques that helps the country to move forward in the direction of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 5.0). Purpose – Using an interpretive research perspective, this study investigates the characteristics that boost Malaysians' Computational Thinking (CT) in order to realise the objective of Industry 5.0. Hence, the characteristics involves Technological Readiness, Technological Acceptance, Perceived Ease of Use as well as the Intention to Use CT.
