Abstract

The emergence of Internet of Things (IoT) creates a platform that enables the exchange of information, control among various segments of the power grid as well as collection of large volume of dynamic data. Therefore, an IoT based load scheduling system is a good approach for the consumers to manage the energy usage efficiently, or to keep track of the status of the connected device. From the utility perspectives, the data collected will be useful in planning for the power generation and reducing the operating costs.
