Abstract

On 6 June 2017, Multimedia University (MMU) and Creative Content Industry Guild Malaysia (CCIG) launched the inaugural Digital Creative Content Creation (DC3) Competition 2017, which they will organise together to inspire more Malaysian imagineers to employ their skills to contribute to the country’s mission and development. The theme of DC3 Competition 2017 is “Imagineering the aspirations of TN50”. “Imagineering”, a blend word that has begun to be accepted, is derived from the words “imagination” and “engineering”. It implies the realisation of creative ideas into a practical innovation. The competition will be a very god platform for all levels of local art talents, to display the creative content via the digital online platform for sharing ideas, aspirations and stories that are delivered creatively to support the 2050 National Transformation (TN50) plan. In line with the rapid growth of the country’s content industry, DC3 Competition 2017 is held to celebrate creative content talents. A total of RM94,000 worth of prizes awaits the winners.
