Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the students' learning outcome on online stock trading game as part of the Investment subject's assignment. The conceptual model was developed from extensive literature reviews and using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) the model was confirmed to be fit. The model was then mediated by two constructs: stress and motivation to identify its indirect effect on the learning outcome. In the study, students felt the subject with this assignment was boring. When playing the game they were mainly risk adverse players. In addition, they felt more stressful than motivated to playing this academic game.
