Abstract

On 1st July 2013, MMU held its MMU Staff Awards 2012 at the Dewan Tun Canselor in Cyberjaya Campus. This is the MMU's annual get together, where the university awards outstanding academics and support staff for their outstanding commitment and work ethics. This year's Staff Awards ceremony adopted an "MMU Airlines" themes, leading to many guests turning up dressed up as pilots and cabin crew. This year's tagline was "Together we will fly high". The ceremony kicked off at 1435 with a welcoming message by Mdm. Hayati Othman, Senior Director for HCM and organizing Chairman of the MMU Staff Awards. This was followed by a televised announcement by "Flight Captain" Prof. Dato' Dr. Muhamad Rasat Muhammad, the President. Prof. Rasat's message was immediately followed up with the award-giving ceremony. High-tea was then served together with entertainment and lucky draws.
