Abstract
Graph theory provides a mathematical framework for representing systems with binary relations. This theory is crucial for modeling and analyzing various systems where relationships between elements can be depicted as connections or edges between nodes or vertices. Lotfi A. Zadeh (1965) introduced fuzzy sets, which allow for vagueness in describing objects and their relationships. Combining graph theory and fuzzy set theory, Rosenfeld et al. (1975) developed the field of fuzzy graph theory. The most recent advancements and uses of fuzzy graph theory are examined in the book Modern Trends in Fuzzy Graph Theory by Madhumangal Pal, Ganesh Ghorai, and Sovan Samanta. It covers a wide range of topics, including the theoretical underpinnings, different kinds of fuzzy graphs, and their practical applications in various domains. (Rajeswari et al., 2022) This study presents a fuzzy EOQ model for substandard products incorporating advance payment schemes, misclassification errors, and repair options through two remittance-based inventory scenarios.
