Abstract

This exploratory study investigated the concept of organisational culture within the context of a research institution. There are three types of research institution in Malaysia namely, the government research institutes (GRI), private R&D companies (PRC) and universities. The study gathered data on organisational culture and R&D activities from members of these institutions through a two-phase approach involving case studies and a descriptive correlational study.
