Abstract

Employee engagement is a critical issue facing the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry today. This research aims to identify the key factors influencing job engagement among employees in this sector. Specifically, the study examines the impact of corporate culture, work-life balance, career opportunities, leadership conduct, and team dynamics on employee job engagement. Utilising a quantitative approach, data was collected via an online questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents working in the FMCG industry. The analysis revealed that work-life balance, career opportunities, and leadership conduct significantly and positively influenced employee job engagement. Conversely, corporate culture and team dynamics were found to have no significant relationship with job engagement. These findings suggest that companies in the FMCG sector should focus on enhancing worklife balance, providing career advancement opportunities, and fostering effective leadership to boost employee engagement.
