Abstract
The revolutionary possibilities made possible by artificial intelligence (AI) extend to every aspect of human life. However, if it is a multiplier of progress, it is also a force. It has made it a major concern for the military establishments of the major nations of the twenty-first century. When civilian and military AI are combined, new actors and uses can arise. It’s crucial to the war for knowledge and paves the way for automated decision- making and workflows. It has far-reaching consequences for nuclear strategy because it makes that plan irrelevant and raises the prospect of nuclear conflict. Furthermore, AI and its applications represent a genuine revolution in managing future wars. Because of its importance in deciding superiority, it poses a serious threat to strategic stability.
