Abstract

Free space optical (FSO) communication is an optical laser using line-of-sight technology that can establish ultra-highspeed broadband connectivity in transmitting data information through the atmospheric medium. By considering its cost efficient, cable less, no licensing, high speed data transferring features through the atmospheric medium, its performance can be enhanced with the assistance of relay [1] as well as with the hybrid combination of radio frequency (RF) by examining and improvising different parameters like propagation distance, path loss and turbulence effect.
