Abstract

In dense metropolitan areas, next-generation cellular networks provide high data rates. However, in order to provide coverage in a larger area, a significant deployment of small cells will be essential, resulting in an increasing number of handovers (HOs). An optimum HO management method may optimize HCP values to improve HO efficiency in HetNets and small cells. This paper presents a Self-Optimization method that will efficiently decrease and optimize HO-related issues while also improving network coverage and capacity. The suggested approach's performance will be compared in terms of HOPP, RLF, and latency.
