Abstract
Urban flight problem that has becoming more serious in Malaysia. Urban areas to sub-urban or rural areas has been increasing at the percentage of 13.6 in 2015 (DOSM, 2016), 15.2 percent in 2016 (DOSM, 2017). Stable population is important to achieve economical, environmental and socialsustainability. The General Objective / Aim of Study: To solve the urban flight issue by investigating the relationship between perceived neighbourhood environment, place attachment and intention remain in both urban and non-urban states among Malaysian.
