Abstract

The emerging field of soft robotics has potential applications in medical and bio engineering fields. This is due to the fact that the materials has low impact on patients In this work, synthetic rubber of PDMS was optimized to produce a superior stretch sensor. The physical and electrical performance of the stretch sensor are done by measuring change of voltage, strain percentage and capacitance when physical change is applied on the compliant stretch sensor.
