Abstract

"The direct and total contribution of Travel & Tourism to Malaysia's Gross Domestic Product was 4.9% and 13.4%, respectively, of the total Gross Domestic Product in 2017, making tourism one of the keys supporting industries in the economy." (HVS 2018). In 2019, a total of twenty-six million tourists arrived, with 5.3 million of them being Muslim tourists. As a result, it is critical for the industry to meet tourists' expectations based on their perceived value. The two outstanding measurements refer to the whole emotional measurement of perceived value, which includes both emotional and social worth. Relapses were used in the majority of previous studies, but only a few used a basic condition display. This study will help to get a better understanding of customers' perceived value and esteem among Malaysian travelers, as there has been little research on the subject in Malaysia.
