Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the occupational stress among employees in the banking industry. Structured questionnaire has been used as a measuring tool in this study. This research is targeted at individuals who are working in the banking industry. Through this study, it may help the company to understand and identify the factors that lead to occupational stress in workplace. Furthermore, this study can help the human resource department to improve and support their employees by implementing effective wellness programs for their staff to reduce stress and help them to manage work-related stress and personal life effectively. This study will discuss a few factors that include role ambiguity, role conflict, work overload, work and family conflicts and organization climate and culture.
