Abstract

In recent years, people are become more concern about their health and nutrition that they consume. Increase in knowledge makes people become not only concern about their health but also environment for healthy and safety purposes. Thus, the demand of organic food increases rapidly. As the demand of organic food increased, it is crucial to identify the factors influencing consumer purchase intention towards organic foods. Therefore, this research is to investigate the factors that influencing consumer purchase intention towards organic foods in Malaysia. There are six factors tested in this research, such as attitude, subjective norms, safety and health consciousness, ethnics concern, price premium and organic knowledge.
