Abstract

This project tackles the mentioned problems through the introduction of a Design Pattern to achieve flexibility in selection of same-class components without changing the client\'s code. Afterwards the same design pattern will be used to arrive at an architectural design specific to the context of database components and a prototype application will be presented to demonstrate the capabilities and/or shortcomings.
