Abstract

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is essential for 5G networks in achieving improved fairness and throughput. Scheduling the massive number of users on NOMA systems and wireless networks lead to a rise in the computational loads. The need for efficient allocation of radio bandwidth to the users in the current and future cellular networks is high. An antcolony optimization has been applied in this research to perform user grouping in 5G NOMA.
