Abstract
Handling the informal economy poses significant challenges to the governments and other stakeholders. Since the informal sector generates benefits to the society, with a cost, policy-making on them becomes an issue all the time. Despite technically termed illegal, the informal economy is still accepted in society because of antisocial intent. Purpose – The purpose of the study is to develop a framework to assess the behavioural patterns of informal entrepreneurs. In this research, an attempt is made to evaluate the potential of informal entrepreneurship along with the attraction factors.
