Abstract
Entrepreneurship is one if the way to preserve the Malaysia’s handicraft culture. Many studies have been conducted in the past but there are limited past studies on whether the factors such financial support could encourage the entrepreneurial intention among youths. Purpose – Entrepreneurship is a way forward in preserving the handicrafts industry. Despite the government effort to encourage the involvement of the youths is still very less. Handicraft contributes to the poverty reduction in rural areas by creating employment therefore this study is very important. In this study we are going to look for a possible solution, on whether financial support availability will influence the entrepreneurial intention among the youths to get into the handicraft industry. This is one of the crucial factors in motivating the youths to be involved in the handicraft field.
