Abstract
This study proposed a concept to implement Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMO) approach into educational online games, with intention to improve users’ affective learning experiences. Based on the literature review of several theories and models, a new model were created based upon users’ experiences in MMO activities that contributed to their engagement and affective learning through five MMO engaging factors. The acceptance of the concept were measured based on users’ gaming experiences and perceived usefulness. The target population for the study consist of active online game users who are familiar in both Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMO) and educational online games.
