Abstract

On 18 to 25 April 2016, Multimedia University (MMU) and Infineon Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd marked the seventh years of organising the collaboration fondly known as Infineon Week 2016. The Infineon Week 2016 was a series of specially designed 4-day collaboration programme for MMU Engineering and Information Technologies (IT) students which included Factory Visit, Career Talk & Alumni Sharing Session, Interview Session & Interview Application as well as Poster and Innovative Project Competition. This programme not only aimed at building collaborations with academic pioneers who will discover and drive the ways in which engineering and information technologies will enrich the human experience for generations to come and to be leaders, but it also expands the industry knowledge based and attracts premier students to help innovate and transfer semiconductor technology to the commercial industry.
