Abstract

CYBERJAYA, Mon. - The Selangor State Government has allocated a grant of RM2 million for a period of 10 years to fund a chair at the Multimedia University to facilitate research in software development and innovation. Known as "Selangor State Chair", a foreign professor with vast knowledge in the field will be selected to occupy the chair. Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Abu Hassan Omar said the research would help the State Government in its multimedia-related projects including telemedicine, smart school, electronic Government and electronic commerce.
