Abstract

Malaysia is one of the countries that manufacturers of national automotive. Purchasing national automotive that made locally avoid the slowdown of growth of economic in Malaysia. However, the awareness campaigns and efforts that encourage consumers to purchase national automotive are not fully comprehensible. There is almost half of Malaysian buying foreign brand of automotive, especially Japanese brand. This study utilized a survey methodology to understand consumer’s purchase intention towards Japanese automotive and how each factors can impact consumer purchase intention. This paper examines the factors of consumer purchase intention of Japanese automotive.
