Abstract

This research examines the factors affecting the adoption of digital banking services among Generation Z in Malaysia. The research investigated determinants such as perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), trust, and perceived risk (PR) through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Extended Technology Acceptance Model (ETAM), and Commitment-Trust Theory (CTT). It adopted a quantitative approach. Data was collected from 200 respondents and analyzed with SPSS. The findings indicated that PU, PEOU, and trust significantly impact digital banking adoption, whereas perceived risk showed non-significance. These results opened avenues through which financial institutions can better digitally banking services and even help to build trust among users.
