Abstract

Instead of ordering products one at a time, numerous organizations purchase many goods at once. This is referred to as the joint replenishment model (JRM). The fundamental idea of JRM is that many goods maintain a common mode of delivery and have been purchased from an identical source. In multi-item stocking networks, JRM is utilized to reduce the overall cost of procuring each product separately. Customer demand for alternative items will rise in response to the cost rise for either of those items. One place where replacement is frequently used is marketplaces.
