Abstract
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are transforming sectors like surveillance, logistics, and disaster response. However, maintaining reliable UAV-to-Ground (U2G) communication in dense urban networks remains a key challenge due to signal blockages, mobility, and interference. This paper introduces Harris Hawk Optimization (HHO) to enhance U2G connectivity in dense urban networks. Key parameters such as UAV altitude, mobility, and Line-of-Sight (LoS) probability are modeled according to 3GPP urban standards. Advanced machine learning models predict complex channel variations, while HHO optimizes UAV trajectories and communication resources, ensuring robust, energy efficient links under urban interference. Simulation outcomes demonstrate the proposed HHO-based framework, showing significant improvements in throughput, latency reduction, and connection reliability.
