This study examines the impact of public transport information design on user experience and urban image, with a specific focus on its role within the broader contexts of user experience and knowledge diversity. By addressing key challenges such as information readability, the need to accommodate diverse linguistic and cultural contexts, and the combined influence of design elements including colors, signage shapes, graphic patterns, text, languages, and symbols this research aims to advance the understanding of how these components shape users’ cognitive and navigational experiences. The research investigates the current state of public transport information design, analyzing its role in facilitating user wayfinding and decision-making. It also evaluates the challenges and opportunities arising from cultural and linguistic diversity, aiming to propose innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency and inclusivity of information design in public spaces. A key contribution of this research is the development of a come out design framework that systematically integrates usercentered principles into the visual information design process, addressing real-world interpretive gaps. A rigorous mixed-methodology approach was employed, integrating user surveys, experimental designs, and contextual analyses to collect both qualitative and quantitative data. Objective measurements were used to evaluate the interplay of various design elements and their influence on user comprehension, navigation accuracy, and overall user experience. The findings reveal that cohesive and user centric design significantly enhances the public transport information process, particularly in diverse and dynamic urban environments. This study significantly advances public transport information design in China by offering evidence-based insights and practical recommendations. It highlights the importance of user-centered, inclusive, and adaptive design strategies to meet the evolving needs of users and adapt to changing contexts. The research outcomes not only enhance wayfinding and inclusivity in public spaces but also improve overall public transport efficiency and urban mobility.
