Abstract
This paper provides a review on pose estimation and the implementation of the Sitting Posture Checker, a user-friendly application designed to address the prevalent problem of poor sitting posture in today's sedentary lifestyle. By using PoseNet and a classification model, the application provides real-time monitoring and evaluation of the user's sitting posture through the device's camera feed. Key features of the application include real-time posture detection, a pre-trained classification model, an intelligent alert system, and customization options. The paper involved extensive research, development, and user evaluation to refine the application's functionality. Through its innovative approach, the Sitting Posture Checker contributes to promoting healthy sitting habits and enhancing well-being in personal and professional environments. This paper presents insights on the key features, user evaluation results, and implications for future research and applications.
