This research project includes employee engagement as its dependent variable and four independent variables which includes work-life balance, training and development, transformational leadership, and technology. The main objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between employee engagement and the four independent factors. Employee engagement is important because it determines how invested an employee is with their work which will affect the productivity, growth, and success of the organization that they work for. The target sample of this research project is part-time and full-time workers from various organizations (public and private) in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, who are considered as Generation Z (born from 1997 to 2012). At the end of the data collection period, 110 complete responses were collected. The data analysis of the research was done using the IBM SPSS Statistics software. The data analysis of the study found that all independent variables had a positive correlation with employee engagement, with transformational leadership showing the highest correlation and work-life balance having the lowest. The results of the multiple regression analysis indicated that work-life balance, transformational leadership, and technology has a significant impact on employee engagement among Generation Z. However, it was observed that training and development has no significant relationship with employee engagement.
