Abstract

The work presents a wireless spectrum sensing system based on AD9361 and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), aimed at real-time monitoring of the radio spectrum to address communication needs and spectrum management challenges. In today's rapidly evolving wireless communication landscape, the effective utilization of spectrum resources has become paramount. However, the ability to accurately sense and analyze radio signals across various frequency bands remains a critical challenge. To this end, the proposed system aims to provide real-time monitoring of the radio spectrum, ensuring reliable spectrum management. Through practical simulation testing, the proposed system aims to provide real-time monitoring of the radio spectrum, ensuring reliable spectrum management. Capability to sense, signals such as Frequency Modulation(FM), requiring a signal-to-noise ratio(SINR) higher than 3dB to determine signal occupancy, with a system resolution of 50Hz. Experimental results show the system's effectiveness in capturing signal activities across different frequency bands, providing reliable support for future wireless spectrum management. This flexible solution holds promise in optimizing spectrum resource utilization to meet the growing communication demands.
