Abstract

Digital watermarking evaluation and benchmarking are considered as challenging tasks due to the multiple evaluation criteria and criteria conflicting. The objective of this research is to adopt multi criteria analysis on digital watermarking evaluation and benchmarking. To achieve this objective five experiments are designed and developed. Two experiments are to provide watermarking samples and three experiments for evaluating the results of the previous experiments using multiple criteria analysis technique. Overall, the enhanced noise-gate watermarking performs better than the original watermark under different circumstances. Future studies include further analysis on digital watermarking evaluation and benchmarking using more study cases, different watermarking approaches and different multi-criteria analysis techniques.
