Abstract
Energy densities, including thermal and mechanical energies, have increased significantly for micro channels in transporting nanofluids to dissipate large amount heat generation. With the increase of energy density, particularly the kinetic energy of the flow, posts a great challenge. It has significantly reduces the length scales of turbulent eddies, and hence the assumption of laminar flow in a micro channel may not be appropriate.
