Abstract
• Sensor-based activity recognition has attracted increasing attention over the past few years due to its potential to support the inhabitants, typically the elderly who live alone. • With the rise of the elderly population, activity recognition system plays an important role in monitoring the inhabitant’s activities and detecting any alarming situations.
