Abstract
Weather-Based Healthcare (WBH) means self-management of chronic diseases that are affected by weather, such as asthma. Weather triggers, including temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind, and UV, cause asthma exacerbation. Nevertheless, weather impact is specific to individual asthmatics depending on their demographic characteristics such as age, gender, and the extent of exposure to the potential weather triggers in their location. Thus, there is a need for a solution that can offer predictions of asthma exacerbation based on demography and weather triggers and provide tailored feedback for asthma self-management with personalisation.
