Abstract

This is a portrait of a teenager. Teen age is a period of searching caused by radical changes. Importantly these changes demands for a teen to seek stable way of identification, or identifying oneself. Such identification is achieved through the associations one make with material possession and consumption. Brand, as depicted in the painting become a crucial way of shaping personality, as it becomes a way in which a teen portrays oneself to others.
