Abstract

Project management is highly valued by organizations as it churns profit through the project outcome. Project completion is not the absolute success of a project; the essential purpose is to fulfil the satisfaction of IT project stakeholders. According to the related literatures which have discussed pertinent items relating to project critical success factors (CSFs) namely IT projects, the role of key stakeholders as their influencing mechanism is generally overlooked. In software development, Agile methods cope with change by delivering early and frequent, in the form of working products through a continuous planning, improvement, execution and feedback loops, done together by project stakeholders and developers. Despite its widespread adoption and application, a detailed understanding around the meaning of agility and Agile Software Development is still lacking with no complete agreement. In addition, the current literature neglects how agile software developments affects stakeholders. Purpose – The aim of this research is to ascertain the factors influencing IT project stakeholders’ satisfaction through agile project management process. This main objective will be answered by the following research questions; How do Corporate culture, IT Governance and project conflicts contribute to the Agile Project Management Process (APMP)? Does Agile Project Management Process have an impact on IT project stakeholder’s satisfaction? In relations to these, does Agile project size matters?.
