Abstract

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is being developed at Multimedia University, Malaysia with collaboration from Agency of Remote Sensing Malaysia (ARSM). The SAR system is a C-band, single polarization, linear FM pulse radar system. The system will be used for monitoring and management of earth resources such as paddy fields, oil palm plantation and soil surface. This paper describes the design and development of the UAVSAR.
